New to Blog

Well today I decided to create this blog, so this will of course be my first blog. I have been thinking of creating a blog for the primary purpose to journal our daily activities with our animals. Lets see, we have three lambs, Squirt which we think has a massive top, Aggie which drives me nuts and i think is our weakest link, and Ella Bella she has all the elements that we lack in the other two lambs. The boys have done a great job with them this year and we have around 45 days till show and much to our dismay this week the weather has been bad so i just have not pushed getting in the barn as we should. Above being cold it has done nothing but rain this week it seems as if it has been raining te whole time we have had our animals since June and I just can not wait for the rain to stop and the weather to warm up a bit. The other project we have is a steer, although Hayden just hates to show lambs he really is a great showman i can honestly stay that he gives it his all almost everytime he walks in the showring or when he is playing basketball ( his true love ). Anyways. His steers name is Big Red, he is a big red angus steer and he basically is a big puppy dog until he tries to walk him then the puzzle falls apart, lets just say our show last weekend looked like the bronc rider part of a rodeo, however he stuck to it and was brave and still managed to pull off a third place in his class despite the hardship he had in his class. Boy his mom was scared, but he was a super trooper stuck to his guns and showed that big beast like he had been showing for years, did i say this was his first show ever. So monday after the show we took him to the vet and got a nose ring put in all i can say is i hope that it helps, if not I do not know what the heck i am going to do. Well hope all is well in your woods till next time. Jess
