New Light

Well, today was a very productive day, we went grocery shopping, took off the trash and watched a movie, then ended with a trip to the barn. Hayden, was very hesitant to go today, I think he was scared after the last time we had the calf out, I think he had no idea what was going to happen so he was a bit discourage. However after much talk, he went willingly without a fight to the barn. We got Big Red out, he led him around the arena five laps and mom stood in the middle of the arena just for assist if needed but he did everything himself, Big Red didnt even try to run he stayed right with him , remember we now have a bull ring in his nose, and he really didnt even need it. I feel so relieved this afternoon, now I think the next step is to keep working and hopefully we can find some willing volunteers to go out to the arena and walk around with us with their show calfs just to get him used to it.
